The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is preparing an Environmental Assessment (EA) to evaluate a potential new I-15 interchange at 1600 South/2700 North and improvements to 1600 South from Main Street in Spanish Fork to S.R. 51 (State Street) in Springville. See Study Area Map below.

A public meeting was held on Nov. 14, 2019. Members of the public viewed displays outlining the EA process, met with project representatives and provided input on transportation needs and environmental issues that should be considered during the study.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, the materials that were displayed are available to view here.

Comments and questions will be welcome throughout the project by emailing i15springvillespanishfork@utah.gov or by clicking here.

Public comments are an important part of the environmental process and help guide the decision-making process. Other factors that play a key role in determining solutions are engineering standards, traffic and safety data, environmental resource impacts, budget, and coordination with key government and environmental agencies.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this study are being or have been carried-out by UDOT pursuant to 23 USC 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated January 17, 2017, and executed by FHWA and UDOT.
