UDOT is preparing for an official Public Comment Period and Public Hearing in Fall 2020.
Public Hearing, March 19, 2019
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), in collaboration with Washington City, has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Statement that evaluates transportation needs and solutions in Washington City. The public was invited to a Public Hearing to provide input on the study process and the Preferred Alternative. The materials presented at the meeting can be viewed on the links below:
Dixie Transportation Expo, Feb 12, 2019
UDOT, in collaboration with Washington City, hosted a booth at the Dixie Transportation Expo focused on the progress of the I-15 MP 11 EIS Study. Information regarding the EIS process, alternatives development, and preferred alternative were presented. These materials will be available at the Public Hearing (see above for meeting information).
Public Open House, August 28, 2018
A public open house was held August 28, 2018 at the Washington City Community Center in Washington, UT. Members of the public were invited to attend anytime between 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting was to review and provide input on the environmental process, identified transportation needs, and proposed alternatives to solve existing and future traffic issues at I-15 Exit 10 and the surrounding roadway system in Washington City, Utah.

Dixie Transportation Expo, Feb 13, 2018
UDOT and the City of Washington hosted a MP 11 Interchange Environmental Study booth at the Dixie Transportation Expo. Study team members were present to answer questions. The materials presented were various backdrops and boards, and a traffic simulation that were viewed at the Public Scoping Open House. Public Scoping Open House, August 29, 2017
A public scoping open house was held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Washington Elementary (300 North 300 East Washington, UT). Members of the public were invited to attend anytime between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. to learn about the environmental study process, provide feedback on transportation needs in Washington City and to talk with study team representatives. An open microphone was available from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and 6:30 to 7 p.m.
