The Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) have been prepared and published. This means the Preferred Alternative has been approved and the project will move into the final design and right-of-way (ROW) acquisition phase. Once final design and ROW acquisition is completed, the project will be constructed. The EA, FONSI and supporting documents can be viewed here:

STUDY OVERVIEW
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has prepared an EA to evaluate an interchange on Interstate 15 (I-15) at 1600 South/2700 North and improvements to 1600 South/2700 North from Main Street in Spanish Fork to State Street (S.R. 51) in Springville in Utah County.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this study are being or have been carried-out by UDOT pursuant to 23 USC 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated January 17, 2017, and executed by FHWA and UDOT.
